How are cows milked? Why are some eggs brown and others white? You can learn the answers to these questions and many more at the Fiechterhof in the Sarentino Valley. After a pleasant hike with the whole family through the countryside, you can visit our dairy and learn how to milk a cow. You can taste the milk you've milked right away or save it for your breakfast.

The beginning of autumn simultaneously marks the start of the "Törggelen" season in South Tyrol. "Törggelen" – That's the local custom of hiking and stopping in at various places along the way for a hearty snack and a glass of good South Tyrolean wine. The Sarentino Valley boasts more than 140 summits you can hike to, all of them affording breathtaking views. Our area also offers easier hiking trails suitable for the whole family. The so-called "Buschenschänke" are informal rest stops where you can enjoy recently made "New Wine" and tasty South Tyrolean specialties.
